Strawberry Shortcake
We picked up some fruit for a playdate today, and wound up buying a melon and a half a flat of strawberries. Even leaving some behind with our friends, we still returned home with a lot of strawberries. Feeling more motivated than usual, I sliced a few pints, sprinkled with sugar, made a batch of sweetened biscuits ...
... and we had Strawberry Shortcake for dessert. With just the four of us, there are enough biscuits (and berries!) to eat them again tomorrow. :-)
