Green Machine - Games 3 & 4

Norman kicked off our family's four-game-week with a game on Monday night. It was the Green Machine's third game of the season, which I watched while Simon put Boo to bed. Like their second game, they made it through four innings before time ran out. Unlike their second game, they won this time with a score of 3-1. Norman was late in the batting order once again, and thus only made it to bat once. He had a nice hit, but it was unfortunately caught. Norman's statistics: AB 4, H 1, 2B 1, BA .250, R 0, RBI 2.

Tonight was the finale of our family's four-game-week, the Green Machine's fourth game of the season. They played a good game, ending in a 7-7 tie after four innings. Norman singled his first time at bat, but was forced out at home several plays later. He managed a double his second time at bat, and was able to score this time -- his first run of the season. Norman's statistics: AB 6, H 3, 1B 1, 2B 2, BA .500, R 1, RBI 2.

Here he is on second base after his double. He hit the first pitch while I was still getting situated with the camera, so no picture of him batting from this game (I was scarfing a sandwich the first time he was at bat).
