Monopoly

Norman has been begging to play Monopoly for weeks, and we finally gave in and decided to play. I didn't think the kids would stay interested in the game for as long as they did, but it turned out to be quite fun. The instructions say the game should take 90 minutes if played by the rules. Hah! We played for considerably longer than that before it was teatime. By that point both Simon and Norman had gone bankrupt, so I ceded to Boo and ended the game. Here's the game in progress, minus me since I'm behind the camera.

The best part about playing this game as a grown-up? I got to take Grand-Pere's role as banker.
