Lights, Camera, Action

Yesterday was a very exciting day for Boo. Not only did she get to take Big Bunny to school, but her soccer practice was filmed for a tv station (our local abc station, abc11). I'm not exactly sure how the footage is going to be used, but it sounds like it's part of a weather promo for their Chief Meteorologist, Chris Hohmann. You can see him kicking the ball with the kids in this drill. Boo is right behind him, heading the other direction (that's her coach on crutches).

Four of the kids were recorded speaking into the camera. From what Boo said, they were chosen simply because they were lagging behind when asked to put their soccer balls on the sideline. The woman crouching in the purple shirt prompted them to say things like "Chief Meteorologist Chris Hohmann", over and over. The guys on the far right were watching on the screen, and commented that one of Boo's takes was cute. Perhaps one day we'll briefly see her smiling face on tv. That would be very cool, though just taking part was pretty cool itself.
