Bulls Game

We went to our first Durham Bulls game of the season tonight. The kids loved wandering through the American Tobacco Campus on our way from the parking deck to the stadium, especially the man-made Old Bull River. It's a quarter-mile-long river walk that you can cross over and back at a couple of places.

The view from our seats, which were on the lower level near third base:

It sprinkled a tiny bit, enough to put on our anoraks but not enough to pause the game. I think this is the first time that the kids stayed seated and interested in the game until the end, though it took some coaxing. It helped that the score was close; the Bulls wound up losing by one run.
