Sandcastles

The past couple of weeks the kids have been busy building sandcastles in the sandbox. I think it's at least partly because the weather has cooled off. Fall in North Carolina isn't crisp and colorful like in Maine, but it's a lovely time of year to be doing things outside. Once they have something built, they come rushing in to ask for one of us to come take a picture so they can "save" the castle for posterity. They've even been asking me to post a sandcastle picture on the blog to share with everyone. This is from Saturday afternoon, after soccer.
