Cub-Adult Overnite
While I was in New York, the rest of the family spent part of the weekend at Camp Durant, an Occoneechee Council Scout Camp in Carthage, NC. It was a Cub-Adult Overnite, but fortunately Boo was able to tag along with Norman and Simon. They spent most of Saturday practicing shooting sports - marshmallow gun (which Boo got to try too), BB gun, and archery - and also made some crafts, splashed in the lake, and sang around a campfire. They slept in a tent together on Saturday night, and returned home after breakfast on Sunday. I'm not sure Simon enjoyed it (at least not the sleeping, or lack thereof), but the kids had a blast.
