The Pool

We made our first trip to the pool yesterday afternoon. It's now run by the YMCA, so there are a few subtle changes from last year. The kids now have to wear color-coded wristbands to indicate if they can go down the slide or not. The swim test is to jump in and swim 42 feet (the width of the lap pool), which Norman did easily but Boo wimped on. I'm pretty sure she can do it if she puts her mind to it, so we'll try again once she's acclimated.


They have new goggles, as we discovered on our camping trip that the old ones don't seal so well anymore.
