Today was the last holiday of the pool season, with lots of special festivities at our pool. They had ice cream from Lickety Split, a cookout, live bluegrass/blues music, a moonbounce, and cupcakes from Daisy Cakes. We spent about four hours playing in the pool, lying in the sun, tapping our toes to the music, and sampling all of the food -- plus the kids romped in the moonbounce several times. It was great fun, though I developed a dreadful headache as we were getting ready to leave.

Turns out we've met the
Daisy Cakes folks before, as they live around the corner from us. Konrad stopped by several months ago and chatted about Airstreams with Simon. Their camper is about twice a long as ours. It looks pretty shiny, though parts of it are still being polished. Camper aside, the cupcakes were very yummy.
