Unofficial End of Summer

Growing up, I thought of Labor Day as "the end of summer", since school started the next day. I think it still does in Maine, but school has already started here in NC. Still, it's close enough to be a nice marker for the transition from summer to school. And a good excuse to celebrate. We had a few friends over for a cookout today, something I've been trying to do every few months. No photos, as I didn't think to take pictures at the time. It was a nice relaxing afternoon, with plenty of good food and good conversation.
