When it's damp, we often find slugs on the brick retaining wall out front. The kids like to touch them so they retract their tentacles. Sometimes a slug is "special" enough to merit extra attention, usually very small or very large. This morning it was the latter. The kids put their hands down next to it for a size comparison. I'd say it was about four inches long.
