Spring Showcase

Boo's after school dance and gymnastics class had their end-of-session showcase today. It was similar to previous showcases in fall 2008, spring 2009, and fall 2009, though I've noticed that her skills are gradually becoming more difficult.

She's mastered the headstand (next to a mat just in case she needs it), and has started working on back hip circles on the bar (being helped by her instructor, here).

Her ballet skills are hard to capture with still photography. Her age group is just starting to work on turnout and better body alignment. Here she's doing retiré.

And of course she was happy to pose for pictures at the end. She's certainly my Little Star!
