Boo stays after school on Mondays for a combined dance and gymnastics class. Last week they had a special showcase to share their skills with parents. (I was planning to post this a week ago, but got caught up in making Bedtime Bash decorations.) It was hard to take pictures as there were a lot of kids, a lot of parents, and bright light coming through the blinds on the other side of the room.
For the gymnastics portion they rotated through a couple of different circuits with specific activities at each station/apparatus.
The dance portion started in a circle with everyone following the instructor's lead, then progressed to more freeform movement traveling around the room.
It was fun to watch, and the kids seemed happy to be "showing off" their skills.
