Three Ring Circus

This was the kids' final week of summer camp, at the museum once again. Boo's camp was called "Cirque du Science". She learned about balancing and juggling acts, clowns, animal trainers, tumblers, magic, the midway, and even circus food. On the last day they put on "the best show on earth" for parents, their own Three Ring Circus. Boo was a lion who jumped through a flaming ring held by an animal trainer (teacher). She illustrated the invitation to show her special role in the circus.


Here she is mid-jump, with lion number two waiting for his turn. I believe these are special striped lions who look a bit like tigers due to costume limitations. She said it was hard to jump wearing the lion feet.
