Norman's camp this week was called "Scientific Artist". They explored color, nature's influence (symmetry and patterns), painting techniques, and more. On the last day the students each set up a display of their work from the class and held an art show for the parents. Boo and I checked out the show after the circus ended. Here's Norman with his artwork.
I love how he created a label for each work, specifying the name and artist (not all of the kids did this, at least not giving names to each of their pieces). He was especially proud of his stipple painting, which he says is made up of over 104 dots (that's how many he counted when he tried).
He wants to live in an underground house someday.
