Kapla Butterflies

While Norman was building his Norm-i-seums, Boo was busy creating a butterfly picture out of Kapla on the floor nearby. Sometimes it's fun to build in only two dimensions.


After this picture was taken, she added a big sun above the larger butterfly. It almost looked like a sunflower with a butterfly beside it (the wings looked like leaves for the flower). Our family room becomes a bit of a mine field when the kids are in construction mode, but Kapla blocks are pretty cool.
