When we got out for lunch, we put on sweatshirts and wrapped towels around our waists. Here's Boo all bundled up eating chocolate cake with Grand-Pere and Uncle Samuel (their clothing gives you an idea of the weather).

We walked to the point with the kids after eating. I'm carrying my chocolate cake, and looking rather Samoan here in my terrycloth lava-lava. That's Cousin Devin running in front trying to catch up with Norman and Boo, and Aunt Deanna chatting with me.

The kids wanted to go in the water again, but this time Simon floated around in the inner tubes with them. (Not pictured here are Uncle Nate and Devin, who splashed around in the water both times my kids went in).

When they had enough of being in the water, the kids decided to "drive" (Great) Uncle Ray's boat. Devin was at the wheel most of the time, but all three tried their hand at being the captain.

We hung around and chatted a while longer while Norman and Boo climbed on rocks and fished lily pads out of the lake with sticks. Here's Grand-Pere again, along with Gramie Margie and her dad George.

It was an absolutely wonderful laid-back summer day in Maine. Thanks!
