Kenyan Feast

Today was the Kindergarten's fourth and final themed country party, a Kenyan Feast. Before lunch they had an interactive music presentation led by a fantastic drummer. They learned about some African percussion instruments, then all the kids played or danced in a big group celebration. Here's Boo shaking some bells.

The four classes then headed to their respective classrooms to eat: grilled chicken skewers, brown rice, corn muffins, and fruit kabobs. Boo said YUM!

Most of the boys removed their shirts; all of the girls left theirs on ... except for Boo. Here I am posing with my lovely Maasai warrior. A big thanks to Carla for taking this picture, since photos of me are few and far between.
