Spring Soccer

Spring soccer season started up this week, with both kids playing again. They practice on the same day but not at the same time, which takes a bit of juggling. Norman came along to Boo's practice and worked on his Rockin' Ribbit journal, ate a sandwich, and kicked his ball around. Boo practiced with more intensity than I've seen in the past. Here she's hard at work running zig-zag through a row of cones as part of one drill.


Simon met us at the fields after work, right about the time Boo's practice ended. He stayed for Norman's practice while I took Boo home, fed her dinner, and helped her get ready for bed. From the pictures he took, it looks like Norman had a decent practice as well.


The past three days have been wet, with more rain in the forecast for tomorrow. The fields often have water issues, but hopefully they'll be dry enough for our next practice on Wednesday.
