Someone told meThe weather forecast calls for rain the end of the week, so we decided to do all our fun spring break stuff the beginning of the week. Tuesday we took a trip to the zoo. It was a little bit breezy, but an otherwise glorious day for wandering around and looking at the animals.
It's all happening at the zoo.

"The monkeys stand for honesty, ..."
"... giraffes are insincere, ..."
"... and the elephants are kindly but they're dumb."
The zoo has a Saving Wild Elephants exhibit that talks about the partnership between the NC Zoo and the World Wildlife Fund in Cameroon. Donations are used to tag, track and divert the elephants away from crops during their migration from the National Parks. The kids had a lot of fun pretending to track the elephant herds via helicopter.
