The Death Star
Norman received the Lego Star Wars Death Star playset for Christmas. We waited to open our family gifts until after we returned from England, so he didn't unwrap it until January 2nd. The instructions are massive, a hefty 11x17 spiral-bound book, with 193 steps (many of which have multiple sub-steps). Two weeks later, the model is complete! Norman did all the assembly himself, though Simon and I helped by verifying he had the correct pieces for each step.
