Scout Camping Trips

We had a busy weekend, with the males and females going in different directions. Lea-Frances and I spent Saturday and Sunday camping with her Brownie troop, while Simon and Norman went camping with his Cub Scout pack. We slept on cots in a cabin, while they slept in a borrowed tent.

The highlight of the Brownie trip was archery. Here Boo gets a few pointers.

We also took a hike, played games, cooked dinner on a campfire, made s'mores, and just hung out. Here's Boo with our cabin mates (plus one) on Sunday morning.

And Big Bunny was left behind in one of the cabins - oh the misery! We went back for him (adding an extra hour to our trip home), only to discover that a classmate had found Big Bunny and taken him home to give to Boo in school on Monday. It's a good thing she got him back, as she was miserable at the thought of losing him.

Simon didn't bring a camera, but he did bring my Flip. Here's video of Norman on a BMX bike/track. He LOVED it!
