Missing Tooth

Boo greeted me at school pickup today with a big smile. A big gap-toothed smile. She finally lost her first tooth! It had been loose for a while, and this morning on her way out the door for school she told me it could lie flat. I had a feeling today would be the day. She had some assistance from Miss Lang (one of the first grade teachers), who has a reputation for being good at pulling out teeth. Boo was so excited! And losing a tooth at school is special because you get a plastic tooth-shaped holder on a cord so you can wear it around your neck, plus a certificate and an "I Lost A Tooth" pencil.
