Happy Birthday Snowy

Snowy turned one year old today. The kids wanted to have a cake for him, but NO chocolate so that he could eat it too. This is a rarity in our house as we usually have chocolate cake, frosting, or both. Since he's a white dog, they requested an all-white cake (Simon pointed out that he has pink skin under his white fur, but I decided against putting a few drops of red food coloring in the cake batter). I made a vanilla cake with vanilla frosting today, but just round and not dog-themed. We sang Happy Birthday to Snowy after dinner, then all enjoyed some cake. Even Snowy, though he had just a small bit.
