You may have noticed the stickers on the kids' foreheads in the previous post. They are stickers from the bananas that we ate earlier. I'm not sure if this is a "Turner Tradition" or something that others do, but when I was a kid we used to put the banana stickers on our forehead. In fact we used to fight over the one or two stickers that came on a bunch.
Norman dubbed us "The Odd Squad", after an episode of
Fairly Odd Parents that we watched on TV before dinner. He's recently started acknowledging some of our nutty behavior (like doing the "
stirring the pot" dance move together) in a funny way. He sidles up to me and says "we're related" in a goofy voice before flashing a big cheesy grin.
