Griffy Update

Bloodwork came back showing potential kidney issues, so Griffy went back to the vet today to collect urine for testing (his bladder was empty at our last visit). While he was there, he also had his blood pressure checked. They used an artery in his tail, a pediatric cuff, and a doppler system like this. I got to hold him (a break from their usual rules), since they wanted to keep him relaxed for the process. Despite his unhappy vocalizations, his blood pressure was normal for all three readings.
They had to shave the base of his tail to be able to hear clearly -- oh, the indignity of it all. Griffy didn't want to keep his tail or his body still for me to take a picture. Other than a kitty hiney shot, this is the best I could do.
