Camel Cricket

Lea-Frances found a camel cricket in the yard (yuck!), which she managed to catch. These bugs live in our crawl space and freak me out when I'm in there and they start jumping around. She thought it was cute, in spite of the fact that it was missing one of its hind legs.


For some reason she decided to "dress up" today, with a sundress, ruffled socks, and hair bow. It was still a bit cool in the morning (though far from cold), so she added a sweater over her sleeveless dress. And accessorized with a bug...
