Bird's Nest

A couple of weeks ago I started taking occasional morning walks through a neighborhood just down the road. While strolling along last week, I discovered an empty nest lying by the side of the road. Looks like the wind was stronger than the mud on the bottom which had held it to a tree branch. Since I didn't know how/where to attach it back to a tree, and it was too heavy for birds to put back, I brought it home for the kids to see. It's very different from the wrens' nests on our porch.
