I bought this hat when I went to a race in Niagara Falls with Curt, probably close to 20 years ago. Yes, that's a real raccoon tail, though the hat itself is made of rabbit not raccoon. It's been tucked away in the closet in Boo's room where it was recently uncovered. She likes to wear it around the house, and donned it this morning to help out with the sweeping.
