Knights of the Craft Table

Simon and I slept in until 7:30 this morning. That may not sound like much, but the kids had been up for over an hour at this point. They were surprisingly quiet, so I was anticipating mayhem downstairs. Instead, Norman had taken a suggestion from his Kids Discover magazine about Knights & Castles. He designed his own coat of arms, and even put a handle on the back. Boo helped him tape the four pieces of paper together, and apparently watched patiently as he traced the shape, cut it out, and colored the decorations. They amaze me sometimes. This picture is a close-up of the shield, so you can't see the shin-guards, batting gloves, and sword that this young knight is also wearing for protection.
