The Green Machine was crushed on Monday night 0-12ish, by the same team that beat them in game two. There are only four teams in his age division, so they play each other three times during the season. He connected with the ball in his only at-bat, but was thrown out at first. He followed that up with a good defensive play in left field, holding a runner at third. Norman's statistics: AB 7, H 3, 1B 1, 2B 2, BA .429, R 1, RBI 2.
They had a much better game tonight, though I believe they lost 4-5. Norman batted twice and had two singles, scoring the first time and driving in a run the second. The series of pictures above are from his first time at bat tonight: waiting, first pitch (nicked it for a foul), second pitch (strike two), third pitch (hit!). Norman's statistics: AB 9, H 5, 1B 3, 2B 2, BA .556, R 2, RBI 3.
