Blue Lightning - Game 5

Boo's ballgame tonight rocked. It was hot and very humid, but the Blue Lightning played a really good game. They won by a score of 19-15, with Boo scoring one of those runs. She was tagged out at first base her first time at bat, then singled and eventually scored her second time. She also made a nice play at third base, making the lone out of the first inning. It was a rare game in which both teams didn't score 4-5 runs in every inning. The other team scored no runs in the second inning! Boo's teammate Donovan made three outs from the pitcher position. He caught an early pop fly, then scrambled for short hits and tagged runners out at home on both of the next two plays. Wow! Boo's statistics: AB 12, H 9, 1B 9, BA .750, R 6, RBI 0.
