Couldn't pass up the chance to take a picture of Norman and his car with Jeff Gordon ... a two-dimensional Jeff Gordon, that is. After all, we live in NASCAR country (though I must confess the only auto racing I watch is F-1).

Pinewood Derby
Norman skipped his basketball game today to race in the Pinewood Derby. I didn't take any pictures during the actual racing because they had the track area pretty well roped off and there were lots of people jockeying for good viewing/photo positions. This picture is from one of the runs that kids did while the results were being tallied (cars are just outside the frame, as I was slow turning the camera on).
