Thanksgiving Stations

I helped out with "Thanksgiving Stations" in Boo's class today. The kids rotated through various craft stations which were each supervised by a parent. They decorated tee-shirts with Native American symbols, made headdresses, strung colored pasta necklaces, made butter, and created miniature log cabins. I volunteered for this even when Norman was in first grade, and helped with the tee-shirts then. This year I helped with the log cabins -- small milk cartons, chocolate frosting, pretzels, and graham crackers. Here's Boo showing off her finished cabin.

She devoured what she could when she got home, pulling off the pretzels and graham crackers and scraping the frosting off with her fingernails.
