Thanksgiving Feast

The first grade had their big Thanksgiving Feast today. I was there for the lead-up to the meal (procession of singing Native Americans and Pilgrims, followed by a short presentation of what they're thankful for), but I had to go upstairs when they started eating because I'd volunteered to read to Norman's class at lunchtime. Here's Boo, wearing a knee-length dress of mine which is floor-length on her. She insisted on wearing a scarf on her head, as she disliked the paper Pilgrim hats they'd made (too square, she said).


I think she looks more like a peasant than a Pilgrim, but she's beautiful either way.
