Blast From the Past

I love how facebook has enabled me to reconnect with people from my past. Most recently I was 'friended' by Jennifer, one of the girls I used to babysit for when I was in graduate school (over 20 years ago). She and her husband were in Durham for a wedding this weekend, and stopped by the house for a quick visit - she used to live in this neighborhood, less than a half mile away. It was so cool to see her all grown up, hear about how her family is doing, and meet her husband.

What a wonderful way to start the day. :-)
