Norman had two baseball games this week, on consecutive nights. The Lasers played a total of four innings on Monday, with one good string of hits. Norman sat on the bench the first and third innings. He played third base for the second inning and first base for the fourth inning. I don't think the ball even came near him. He was only at bat once, and struck out. Not sure what was up, but his stance looked odd to me. Lots of sitting and he didn't even touch a ball -- I guess some games are like that. Here's a short video of Norman playing third base. The coach of the other team was his soccer coach, hence the high-five.
Tonight's game was similar to last night's, except Norman handled the ball a bit. The Lasers played three innings before time ran out. Norman was in left field the first inning, sat out the second inning, and played catcher the third inning. He was only at bat once, and struck out. Statistics to date: AB 12, H 6, 1B 5, 2B 1, BA .500, R 2, RBI 3.
