Tonight we rode the Santa Train at the Museum of Life and Science, one of our annual Christmas traditions. We usually ride the first train at 5:20 followed by dinner at Elmo's, but I blew it this year and didn't buy tickets immediately after they went on sale. We had 7:40 tickets (probably good to let those with youngsters have the early seats anyway), and planned to go to Elmo's before the train instead. That is until Lea-Frances got invited to a birthday party for today that ended at 6:30. In a serious deviation from tradition we're going to have dinner at Elmo's tomorrow night. No inflatables anymore, so we took our traditional picture by a lighted sign at the entrance.
On the train waiting to start ... I love my beautiful family. :-D
Stopped at the North Pole waiting to talk to Santa - Norman asked for a computer (a windows machine that can run all the video games he wants to play) and Lea-Frances asked for a kitten.
Hard to believe that this was our ninth Santa Train ride; we started when Lea-Frances was 14 months old. For a blast from the past, here are posts about riding the Santa Train in 2008 (which has pictures from the previous four years too), 2009, 2010, and 2011.
