"Songs Of The Sea"

Norman has been participating in Orff Ensemble this year, an after-school music group for fourth graders. They gave a joint performance this evening along with the Movement Ensemble and Chorus, two other after-school music groups. It was a big production called: Yo Ho! Songs of the Sea "Arrrrrrrr" Rated.

First the Chorus sang several sea shanties.

Here's Norman (middle back) watching with other members of the Orff Ensemble:

Then all three groups put on a mini-musical called "Jake and Joe, The Pirate Bros." based on the book One Eyed Jake by Pat Hutchins. As you can see, it was quite a production.
