Monday Sundaes

The kids and I have been discussing banana splits recently (the ice cream treat, not the TV show). We had them in NY on a camping trip several years ago, but neither of them remember it. I worked at Friendly's while I was in college, and remember how theirs were made -- black on white, white on black, fruit on fruit. I bought the ingredients so we could have Sunday Sundaes, but we were too busy with Halloween activities. So we had them a day late as Monday Sundaes instead.
