Duke Gardens

It was overcast today, but the rain held off long enough to take Snowy and a few slices of old bread to Duke Gardens this afternoon. Norman fed this Canada Goose out of his hand before I hollered that it would hurt if it got his fingers instead of the bread.


Most of the ducks seemed sated and ignored the tossed bread, but they finally found a pair who were hungry enough to accept their offerings.


I tried several times to get a picture of Snowy exploring, but he was always tugging on the leash with his head to the ground, sniffing. Here's he's tugging (come on, lady) but distracted enough by my efforts to at least look up. You can see the kids down by the water in the background.


It's supposed to be rainy the end of the week, so we'll have to come up with indoor activities for the next couple of days.
