Durham Bulls Overnighter

It was Girl Scout Night at the Durham Bulls game. Lea-Frances and I were supposed to sleep out on the field after the game, but alas they cancelled the overnight portion due to the approaching hurricane.

The Girl Scouts paraded around the field before the start of the game. Lea-Frances helped hold her troop's flag.

Midway through the game, the sky got ominously dark. It started raining shortly after I took this picture, and we left not long after that.

The kids and I decided to dance in the rain on our way back to the car (Simon drove separately since he came straight from work). Sometimes you just have to embrace the moment ...

... even if you end up looking like a drowned rat.
