Miss Tiggie's mobility had deteriorated over the past three weeks to the point where she was slithering on her side rather than walking. She could no longer reach her water bottle, and even stopped eating the hard-boiled eggs I'd been tempting her with. Rather than watch her starve to death, I took her to the vet and watched her be euthanized. Not sure it was any easier to watch, but it was quicker and hopefully more humane. Hornery as she was, we're going to miss her.
